But minutes before, he wailed and wailed.

Which one wailed and wailed?

Do you ever tightly swaddle him? Many newborns like that...just older sister advice you can take or leave. :)

That's funny, Manda--I've sounded like an "old mom" in my head as I've thought, "cover those baby's legs up--don't you know it's winter?!!" ;)

All advise from Harts full of love, ya know, Nathan and Nancy!

Gee, never thought of that! ...he does seem unswaddled in many of these pictures, although it's a rare thing.

Our swaddles are usually just with a receiving blanket, not a thick one. Have you ever lived on the 9th floor of a building, built in 1902? HOT. He'll often stop crying when we relieve him of his swaddle and let him stretch out and relax in the 80 degrees.

You need to get the Lego out, NH.

Such tender moments captured. Beautiful. Wish I could be there to hold that little man in person (Riley, not Nate).

Glad to know he's getting ready for a visit to FL by enduring the 80 temps! ;)
